DEPARTMENT OF TRAINING AND CAREER GUIDANCE

The Career Guidance and Training Department (FOL) aims to prepare students for a responsible, informed, and safe entry into the workforce . It acts as a crucial bridge between the educational institution and the professional world, equipping students with the essential tools to successfully navigate their future careers.
Through its curriculum, students acquire fundamental professional, personal, and social skills, particularly in the areas of career guidance, labor law, and occupational risk prevention. These skills enable them to understand their rights and responsibilities as workers, improve their employability, develop job search skills, and adopt safe and responsible attitudes in the workplace.
It also fosters values such as initiative, autonomy, teamwork and adaptation to changes in the labor market, contributing to the comprehensive training of students and facilitating a realistic and conscious transition to their professional life

ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS
IPE I and IPE Basic FP:
In the FOL Department, we are committed to real, practical learning connected to the professional world. Therefore, students leave the classroom to experience firsthand how their future work environment functions through visits to key areas of the school, such as the administrative office or the carpentry workshop, where they can observe the organization, processes, and daily realities of their profession, as well as the main risks, hazards, and preventative measures.
Furthermore, students develop a specific occupational health and safety dossier, tailored to their professional sector, analyzing the risks, hazards, and preventive measures associated with their future work. This not only reinforces their awareness of prevention but also prepares them to enter the job market safely and responsibly.
As a culmination, the students obtain the Basic Certificate in Occupational Risk Prevention (30 hours), a necessary requirement to work.
IPE II:
In the second year, the Business and Employment Department fosters students' entrepreneurial spirit by having them develop a Business Plan. Through this project, aspiring entrepreneurs learn to transform an idea into a real business, practically analyzing all the necessary steps for its launch. Students work on key aspects such as market research, economic viability, and marketing, acquiring a comprehensive and realistic perspective.
